What is it all about?

As a Brand Manager, you will be concerned with creating a lasting impression among consumers and improving product sales and market share.

Key aspects of the job include:

  • Development of brands entrusted to the company
  • Plan, develop and direct marketing efforts for a particular brand or product
  • Execute strategies with cross-functional teams (sales, trade, channel)
  • Manage external marketing partners such as advertising agencies, digital marketing firms, and production companies
  • Supervise brand content
  • Manage access to brand assets
  • Develop brand standards and usage guidelines
  • Assist integration of campaigns with brand consistency
  • Track consumer and market insights by reviewing metrics such as sales volume, market share, profit projections, pricing and distribution, and by conducting consumer research
  • Analyze sales data (with support of analyst) to update a brand or category portfolio, determine new products and delete underperforming products
  • Work closely with departments such as manufacturing and R&D to consult on package and product as it relates to branding
  • Write reports, presentations, specifications and creative briefs
  • Sharing out the strategic marketing and business planning and subsequent implementation plans for assigned portfolio
  • Monitoring consumer behavior and preferences, coordination, focus groups and surveys
  • Management of the selection process (tender), development, adaptation, and implementation of marketing campaigns
  • The responsibility for the proper administration and economic allocation of resources entrusted to the marketing budget
  • Create strategies to take advantage of market opportunities
  • Conceptualize strategic initiatives and implement details of a campaign

Who are you?

  • You have the FMCG industry background and experience (beverage is an advantage) ideally in brand marketing.
  • OR you have the agency experience as an account manager/brand manager/product manager/marketing manager.
  • You are able to contribute to the strategical direction of products and brands.
  • You are logic and analytical kind of person, able to analyze in MS Excel and present market data and consumer research in both Slovak and English language. At the same time, you are energetic and passionate about their product specialty.
  • You enjoy working in a busy, deadline-driven and creative environment.
  • You are independent and don't need daily supervision based on your experience.
  • You have an instinctive feeling about future product concepts.
  • You are able to work well with a wide range of people from different parts of the business (Sales, Trade Marketing...).
  • You have driving license B.
