What is it all about?

As a Manager your main responsibility is to facilitate, support and motivate your global Expertise members.
As it is a brand new role you will choose your coworkers and you will set-up the strategy of the team.
You will effectively lead the transition of your COO domain to the One Agile Way of Working within your area and formulate a clear purpose for your expertise team (the team will consist of SMEs from different areas connected to finance and banking processes)
  • You are responsible for executing risk & control compliancy and mitigation of business and operational risks
  • You maintain contacts with stakeholders and external parties
  • You strive for open and transparent communication within your global expertise community. You stimulate the interaction between people within and outside their own area
  • You fulfil a crucial role in alignment between the different Expertise teams and FO organisation
  • You make sure you deliver valuable and secure services to clients globally (40 different countries)
  • As you are accountable for continuous improvement of (client) processes, your strive is to limit internal hand-overs
  • You are expected to be a face of company and represent at industry forums and conferences and collate relevant industry-related trends and information, to be used in the course of carrying out your role

Who are you?

We are looking for a charismatic and approachable leader who feels comfortable in migration of cross-country processes.

The new Leader of the team should poses the following:
  • Proven track of record in executing (strategic and process) change, driving continuous improvement initiatives as well as developing high-performing teams
  • from banking or SSC environment
  • Affinity with quality management and risk
  • Familiarity with agile, operational management and preferably with Lean Six Sigma

Your personality is also very important. You are welcome if you are:
  • able to take responsibility, steer strategy and you have courage to question and make decisions
  • able to understand and take into account the underlying issues, opportunities and dynamics of an international organisation and deal with multiple (sometimes conflicting) interests
  • able to empower teams to act autonomously, bring people together to achieve the best results
  • creative in your solutions and you see giving and receiving constructive feedback as an important condition for working well together

You have strong focus on delivery, ability to work successfully in multiple countries, you like to connect people to work towards the same purpose and clear communication is a matter-of-course for you.
