What is it all about?

Financial Markets Client Control team sitting in Bratislava and operatiing worldwide directly supports front-offices worldwide in their corporate client acceptance process in a challenging and demanding working environment.

Your responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead a team of up to 30 people (including 2 team coordinators)
  • Supervise day-to-day operations and create an environment built on trust, open communication, creative thinking, and cohesive team effort
  • Set clear team goals and develop a strategy to reach them
  • Serve as a focal point to communicate and resolve interface and integration issues with other stakeholders
  • Motivate, inspire and coach team members in order to facilitate further development
  • Familiarize the team with the customer needs and specifications
  • Oversee the development process, standards, techniques and tools to support task performance
  • Manage and coordinate changes related to new services being on boarded and activities
  • Deliver in accordance with service level agreements

Your future team responsibilities:
  • Customer Due Diligence (CDD)
  • Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID)
  • Foreign Account Tax compliance Act (FATCA)
  • Common reporting standards (CRS)
  • European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR).
  • Future laws and regulation relevant to FM client on-boarding procedures are also implemented by this team

Who are you?

You are a “ROLE MODEL“ TEAM LEADER with finance background (financial services/banking environment would be a huge advantage, but not mandatory) with fluent ENGLISH language (C1).

You have a PASSION FOR LEADING A MULTICULTUAL TEAM OF 15 (no worries, you will have support of 2 team coordinators who helps with operational tasks).

You should be an EXCELLENT COMMUNICATOR and EMOTIONALLY STABLE leader, skilled in ARGUMENTATION, NEGOTIATION with genuine desire to excel well in fast-paced environment.

Very relevant would be overview in Financial Markets/Banking regulatory with key words: CDD, MiFID, FATCA, CRS, EMIR.

However, we know how challenging is to find a super hero meeting all these requirements. So, we gladly welcome someone who finds himself in personal traits mentioned above. With Can Do attitude and motivation to continuous learning, you are ready to take over this role as well.
