What is it all about?

You will be a part of global HR team of 13 people based in Bratislava and directly report to Team Lead.

The Payroll Operations Agent is responsible for:
  • Day to day administration and delivery of payroll for Italian (and other European) employees. This includes payroll processing, administration, and employee inquiry management and issue resolution
  • dealing with external payroll vendors, Businesses and HR functions to ensure the effective delivery of end to end employee payroll processing and query management
  • Upload payroll related data onto the required Payroll Vendor online tool, downloading of the payroll outputs, distribution to the relevant individuals or teams within the Business, and approving local payroll

This position will also work as part of a Global Project Team for transitioning to new outsource provider and will have a key role in system testing, feedback, process development and documentation.

Who are you?

  • Minimum 1 year Payroll Operations experience for European countries. Italian is a must have
  • Good knowledge of Italian payroll processes/terms such as: ASOKAF, F24, Fasi, Pension plans, INAL, DM80, INPS
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state and local tax regulations
  • Fluent Italian AND intermediate English language
  • An Excel advanced user with the ability to process and analyze large volumes of data
Some call handling experience, ideally in an outsourced environment, is preferred
  • A true self starter with an ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
  • Strong sense of teamwork and ability to work well with all levels of employees

The Payroll Accountant handles highly confidential data and requires the utmost professionalism, attention to detail, and customer service skills.
