What is it all about?

Reporting lines:
  • report to local Tax Compliance Director
  • closely cooperate with VAT Compliance Manager and VAT Controversy Manager
  • max. 4 direct reports

Job Description:
  • Manage VAT Data Quality team of up to 4 people (1st line of leadership)
  • Manage and improve the VAT compliance process design for EMEA
  • Lead and/or coordinate VAT data quality projects and support other indirect tax related projects across the EMEA region
  • Assist in maintaining a proper VAT logic and coding in the SAP across the EMEA region
  • Lead a team of dedicated VAT specialists
  • Coordinate and support the development and the maintenance of internal controls/ policies to minimize VAT exposure and maximize VAT opportunities
  • Analyse, adapt and implement VAT relevant legislation changes in operative processes
  • Provide targeted, relevant training Shared Service and Tax Function employees
  • Manage and improve the VAT forecasting

Who are you?

You can jump into managerial role and become a role model. All you need is:
  • fluent English language

EXPERTISE:
  • strong knowledge and proven track of record in Indirect Taxes (Slovak legislative or others within EMEA region)
  • ability to lead a small team of 4 specialists (lack of people managerial backgorund is not a disadvantage since a consulting experience brings a strong expertise)

PERSONALITY:
  • ability to take over the initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions for challenges and obstacles
  • high level of diplomacy, problem solving skills, organizational and planning skills

PC SKILLS
  • MS Excel
  • SAP (not necessary if you are user of Oracle or another ERP system)
