Compensation Analyst is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's compensation strategy to ensure market competitiveness and alignment with business objectives.
What is it about?
- Lead the development and execution of compeny’s compensation strategy, including base pay, variable pay, and long-term incentives, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and financial plans.
- Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive benchmarking to understand industry trends.
- Utilize findings to recommend adjustments and enhancements to existing compensation structures.
- Oversee the administration of compensation programs, including salary planning, increases, and incentive compensation.
- Ensure programs are administered in compliance with policy and government regulations.
- Provide expert advice and consultation to HR business partners, an management on compensation-related matters, including offer recommendations, job evaluations, and policy interpretations.
- Develop and maintain compensation policies and practices.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.
- Stay abreast of legislation changes that impact compensation.
- Leverage data analytics to generate insights on compensation trends, pay equity, and program effectiveness.
- Prepare and present reports to HR leadership and senior management.
Who are we looking for?
- 5 years of experience in compensation analysis or related area, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
- Proficiency in compensation market analysis tools, HRIS systems, and Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and influence decision-making processes.
- Certifications such as Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Global Remuneration Professional (GRP) are preferred.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
